Potion of Purify Food and Drink

Grimwick pulled out a small jar with a tight fitting lid. He shook the contents within vigorously, opened the jar, and poured the contents on the festering meat.

Potion of Purify Food and Drink  (Italian Dressing)

Makes enough to last a few gaming sessions. (375 mL)

  • 250 mL (1 cup) olive oil
  • 60 mL (1/4 cup) lemon juice
  • 60 mL (1/4 cup) white vinegar
  • 10 mL (2 teaspoons) granulated sugar
  • 5 mL (1 teaspoon) salt
  • 2 mL (1/2 teaspoon) garlic salt
  • 2 mL (1/2 teaspoon) onion salt
  • 2 mL (1/2 teaspoon) chicken bouillon cube or powder
  • 2 mL (1/2 teaspoon) paprika
  • 2 mL (1/2 teaspoon) dried oregano
  • 1 mL (1/4 teaspoon) ground thyme
  • 1 (1/4 teaspoon) crushed chili flakes
  1. Combine all ingredients in a mason jar with tight-fitting lid.
  2. Shake well.
  3. Leave for 2 hours to blend flavors.
  4. Store in refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
  5. Shake well before drizzling over salad or anything else you are serving it with.

Cook-Pot Meatballs

Grimwick pulled out a small jar of a yellow, reeking paste. He flashed a smile with his three teeth as he gleefully opened the contents into the bubbling cookpot. What once was rancid meat took on an inviting aroma.

Aye, Pic’d it up ina ‘lithid lair! I uses it te co’er up th’ rank o’ th’ meat ‘ere! A bot’l'is hides’er up nice ‘n priddy. No needs te tell ‘em w’ere th’ meat comin’ fro’. Careful tho’, sum peple’s no’ likin’ de taste!

Drop th’ meatballs inne pot. Add th’ water, ‘lithid paste then add noodles. Warm ‘em ’til noodles go soft, put vegies and ’shrooms. Keep warmin’ ’til it has tak’n together.
Doen’t look very nice, but ’tis very good.
